Ingrown nails can continue to occur from improper cutting of the nail, extensive curvature of your nail, and/or wearing overly tight shoes, these are just a few causes to think about.

To avoid this from happening, try cutting your nails straight across and gently filing the rough edges. Before cutting an ingrown nail, soak your feet to make the process easier or consider using some bio freeze to help reduce the pain. Another alternative way to avoid ingrown nails from reoccurring would be to try packing underneath the nail. This would give the the nail a chance to grow over the skin and once the nail is long enough to be cut properly.
